Randolph YMCA - Our YMCA Giveaway Winner!

During the 2016 General Assembly of YMCAs exhibition held in Kansas City, MO, SOCIY set out to assist the most deserving of locations by offering a free website. SOCIY was looking for a YMCA with a limited budget that kept them from having the online presence they need to be able to reach their full potential. After scouring through all the entries, we chose the Randolph YMCA as recipient.

The Randolph YMCA has tons to offer to their members and community, but if you don’t walk in the doors of the facility you would never know. The website needed to be reworked, so information was readily available and easy to find. With so much to offer, we didn’t want anything to go unnoticed. With many unique features such as a 3-5ft warm water pool, middle school after care program, as well as programs and equipment scaled down for their large population of special needs members. A new website will be able to bring attention to everything they have to offer.

“Our goal in creating this contest was to identify an outstanding community partner and help them achieve an online presence that speaks to who they are and what they offer," said Jeremy Weedman, VP of Sales for SOCIY.

The warm water pool was specially designed with underwater treadmills, bikes and boxing bags. It is available for both prehab and rehab, and houses the Dolphin swim class for the special needs members. Along with the Dolphin swim class, Gymfit is a special gymnastics class scaled down to accommodate all levels. Held in the Program House, which is located on the Randolph YMCA property, it also boasts a full schedule of gymnastics classes available for both members and non-members.

Exclusive to Randolph Middle School students is an after school program geared to get students active. The students are picked up at the middle school and brought directly to the Randolph YMCA for exercise, learning, and of course fun with their friends! This experience is available to members and non-members of the Randolph YMCA.

Community involvements is a major goal of the Randolph YMCA. The new website SOCIY created will serve the community by sharing all events and essential information for all members and non-members alike. The Randolph YMCA wants to make sure they are reaching everyone and that the community has access to all the great things they provide for Randolph, New Jersey.
